Care and Character

Their fragile appearance is deceiving. Lilac-Crowned Amazons are bold, inquisitive and often shockingly fearless. With correct socialisation, they can become loving companions that enjoy being with their families. Here is a care guide for lilac amazons.

They require a large cage, exciting toys, and lots of interaction each day. Regular play times outside the cage, light instruction and a steady routine will keep them happy and mentally busy.
